What subject area I enjoyed the most?

In lesson I had taster sessions for everything in media for example Photography, Video Editing, Digital Imaging, Web Design, Animation and others but I would say that my favorite on was the video editing. When I tried video editing we had to use Adobe Audition and this is what I done

 I made a mix video where I had to go on the internet to get a video of YouTube and then to find sound effects to put in it. So this is what I liked the most because it was fun and entertaining.

What my weaknesses were and my strengths?

I would say that the most thing that I probably struggled with the most was using the software properly because it was only my first time using it but then I got better at it and it is changed to a strength. I think that I am good at finding good YouTube videos to put an effect with and then editing them. I have made a video trailer before on our 'Introduction' week where we found out the things that we would be doing and more about the course. I enjoyed the editing the video and texts and stuff into it. 

My Silver Awards Challenge

For my silver arts awards challenge I want to edit a video tand make a movie trailer and make it really good with scary clips and sound. I want my trailer to have a nice calm video to start of with then start to edit it so that you can tell that something is changing then I want it to turn scary. After I have created the video it will then be shown so that youse can watch it and that's my idea for my video.

Planning

I want to start creating my video and start to make it scary but funny at the same time, I am going to make my trailer on Imovie. I am doing it on this because its much easier as it will help me puts parts of the clip that I want in each place. I am going to make my trailer have different types of twists in it so that it isn't boring but interesting. I want my trailer to last 2-3 minutes at the most and not that much longer so that it doesn't get boring but so that its enough for a trailer.

I will be using a programme called I Movie to edit it all together. I will use existing footage from youtube to work into my challenge. I will convert the youtube videos into video files that I can work with using a programme online called Clip Converter. I will convert some youtube files to videos and some as audio files.

Once it is all edited, I will upload it on to my blog and ask other people to look at it and add feedback. I will then review what I have produced for this project and see if it matches up to what I wanted.

How I made it

I made my video on Imovie because it is the easiest thing to make it on because I know what Im doing, the programme also helps you by putting the parts in different bits for example if I wanted to as text to the trailer then it would be at the start of it then I would just need to put the different parts of the clip that I wanted to use that I got of YouTube and then put them where I wanted them. It was a big help using this programme. I added credits to the end of my trailer so that they knew what person do what etc. I think that at the end of it all the trailer ended up being good and I really enjoyed making it.
